Revoking/Invalidating a user's certificate

Administrators can revoke or invalidate a certificate issued to a user for a particular course. 

1. Log in to the Admin Dashboard.

2. Go to Users and Groups.

3. Search for the user using the search bar and then click on their name. 

4. You can see if the user has already been issued a certificate if their status for a course is COMPLETED. Click on this course.

5. Click on Revoke Certificate.

6. A pop up box will appear that will confirm your action. Click on OK to proceed.

7. Once revoked, this will appear in the course progress of the user.

The user will also see that his/her certificate has been revoked. When he/she clicks on the view certificate button, this file will appear.

WARNING: Revoking or invalidating a certificate is an irreversible action. You cannot give back the revoked certificate to a user. If there has been an error, contact us at support@buri.io
