There are two ways to create a new course in your Cast LMS.
Option 1: Through Cast Editor
1. From the dashboard, click Cast Editor.
2. Select a block where you want to add your course.
If you don’t have a block for this course yet, click Add Block and select Catalog.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon to modify the block name, then click the green checkmark to save your changes.
To add a course, click the Edit (pencil) icon again.
3. Click the plus (+) button that appears below.
4. Select Create a course.
5. Click CREATE OWN COURSE.
6. Enter your course name and description, add a thumbnail, and then click SAVE to proceed to editing your course.
Option 2: Through Courses
1. Go to Courses.
2. Click CREATE COURSE.
3. Enter your course name and description, add a thumbnail, and then click SAVE to proceed to editing your course.
If you create a course through this option, it may not be immediately visible to learners. To make it visible upon publishing, add the course to your preferred block in Cast Editor through Duplicate existing resource.
