These are the latest feature releases in the Cast LMS for November 30, 2022.

  • New Course Profile

New Course Profile

In the new look for Course Profile, along with the course title, thumbnail, and description, you can now easily view the overall analytics in the course, as well as the batches enrolled in the course. 

To proceed to the Course Editor page, click on the Edit Course Content button. 

Click on the edit button across the course name to modify the basic course details and edit the other settings: Certification, Email Notifications, Course Appearance, and Publishing Details.

Lastly, create a new batch by clicking on the + Add More Batch button. Learn more about the new way of creating a batch through this article.

 


 
New Batch Analytics

When you select a batch from the Course Profile, you will be redirected to the Batch Analytics page. On top of the page, you will be able to see the name of the batch you selected, as well as the batch's enrollment period, and access period.

Here is the list of things you can do in the new Batch Analytics page:

  • View the current Batch Status
  • Easily add new enrollees by clicking on the + Add Enrollees button
  • View the complete details of each user under Enrolled Users (email address, full name, course progress, date of enrollment)
  • Generate Score Report in all assessments in Student Answers tab
  • Download and/or view record of student answers per assessment
  • Download a zip file of all issued certificates
Add Enrollees in Batch

Add new enrollees by clicking on the + Add Enrollees button. Select your preferred user enrollment option.

Generate score report in all assessments

You can still generate a complete score report of all assessments in the course through the Student Answers tab.

Manually set users as Passed in course

If you want to manually change your learner’s status to Passed and immediately grant them certificates even if some assessments have been failed or not completed, you may click on the Set as Passed button.

Download and/or view record of student answers per assessment

Through the Student Answers tab in the Batch Analytics page, you can either export a TSV record of the learners' answers for each assessment or view the history of attempts through the dashboard.

The TSV report, on the other hand, includes the learner's name, the question item, the learner's answer, a timestamp of the submission, as well as the score received by the learner for each question.

Download a zip file of all issued certificates

Administrators can now download the certificates issued to the users enrolled in the batch in a zip file.

Unzip this file in your device to view the copies of certificates in pdf format.
